When should you employ an agency?

Every business, from the smallest to the largest, gets this WRONG!   You should get a marketer or an agency onto your team from the moment you START your business.

When you plan your business

1.     Build your marketing strategy alongside your business model. Let your marketing lead your products and how they are packaged.
 
2.     Listen to what your marketer has to say. Yes, I know he will say things you don't want to hear, but marketing is what he does for a living ... you don't.
 
3.     Think of marketing as a component part of the machine called "Your Business". The value of every single component is the cost of the whole machine. (More on this later)

An unusual word on marketing...

You would be forgiven for thinking that marketing is nothing but clever photos on social media. Many of our competitors deal in nothing else.
